SARAH V DIEHL, LP.D.
About Sarah
Dr. Diehl works to develop and improve policy and program solutions in the higher education and workforce development spaces. As a military spouse for nine years and through five deployments, Sarah is eager to help all military spouses reach their education and career goals. Her work with international students, G.I. Bill recipients, and low-income students has shaped her research interests to the tension between the users’ experience of trying to receive aid and the bureaucratic processes that provide aid. With a BA and MPA from CUNY, she recently completed her Doctorate of Law and Policy (LP.D.) at Northeastern University, where she focused on data-informed policy changes to create education and employment opportunities for those navigating inflexible systems.
She lives in New York City with her husband, an Air Force pilot, and is working the first comprehensive narrative non-fiction book about military spouses.
