Education and Career Consulting for
Military Spouses and Significant Others
Military spouses face sporadic unemployment, unpredictable schedules, and financial constraints - all of which can make it challenging to build an education and career plan to fit their family's long-term needs.
Sometimes, you just need someone who's been there! I completed three degrees while a milso, and built a career I love that will thrive past my spouse's retirement. And I can help you do the same!

What's offered?
Who's been helped?
- A thirty minute video call to discuss your education history, career goals, and your unique situation as a milso.
- Advice on what type of institution, level of academic rigor, and learning mode will fit your lifestyle.
- A curated list of potential colleges, programs, scholarships, and timelines that could work for you.
- Review of up to three college application documents including personal statements, application letters, resumes, essays, etc.
- Sarah helped C. figure out IF she wanted to go back to school. When C. decided yes, Sarah supported her in picking programs and writing her application materials.
- Sarah helped K. think through the types of programs that would be best fitted to her next duty station and suggested a list of four programs she might want to check out.
- Sarah helped M. rewrite her resume to better align with her future career goals, creating a story instead of a list of random jobs.
